So the ‘Daddy-Pea’ of the pod (who happens to sponsor, financially and beyond, this campaign of our’s)
asked us the other day if we’ve explained to anyone why helping to drill wells and get thirsty people clean water is so personal to us?
The fact that we have a well that is so full of boron (80-90 million years ago it was ocean), that it is not safe for long term
human consumption (our garden doesn’t even like it!) so we haul clean water, and we live hours down a curvy mountain road!
“Well” I smiled, “I did explain that we have always had easily attainable clean water, but I never explained exactly how easily I was referring to.”
We are so grateful to live where we do, (for obvious reasons) that it is well worth it to us, but this is not the case for everyone.
Water is LIFE and i hope we never take it for granted (or any of our abundant blessings for that matter!)
I just found out that our newest campaign with charity:water ends the day after my birthday so I am SO excited to donate my birthday!
Plus we have even more lovely items up for sale in our etsy shop, where all funds raised still go to charity:water!
